Made in Laax by LaPaletta, the sketching kit is a solid wooden box, lined with leather, hinged with brass bookscrews and held shut with a magnetic closure. The box contains a soft Blackwing pencil, a thick 6B graphite stick from Faber Castell, a Faber Castell Oil Base medium black pencil, a "Granat" solid brass pencil sharpener, a rolled paper blending stump and a multi-purpose tool which functions as a ruler, angle-finder and circle-drawer made of wood to match the box.
