A favourite of calligraphers, this extra-thin, silky smooth machine-made paper is said to be THE best paper for fountain pen users, with no feathering and minimal ghosting and bleed-through. Excellent for pen and ink drawing, markers, other water media relief printmaking and inkjet printing. (There will be some puckering of the paper with watercolour and other wet media.) Great for making journals too.
It has been made by the Tomoegawa Paper Company in Shimizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture since 1914.
